Madison has successfully completed the first of three large mat foundation pours at the north half of the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems’ 16-story New Patient Pavilion building (located on the former site of Penn Tower). During an overnight operation that took place June 3, we poured more than 2,000 cubic yards of concrete continuously for the north elevator core foundation.

The next large mat foundation pour of more than 6,000 cubic yards is scheduled for early July.
