Structural work complete for the Granary

Beating their own schedule, Madison has completed the structural work for the Granary. Located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Center City, the new structure is surrounded by world-class museums and located a stone’s throw from The Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Granary is also within easy walking distance to Center City’s major office buildings, restaurants and entertainment destinations. Madison is working with general contractor, Canuso Jorden, and structural engineer, The Harman Group, to redesign the structure to a filigree concrete frame building from the original panelized metal stud wall system. The end result, thanks to Madison’s expertise and experience in multi-family residential construction, will be a stronger, longer lasting structure for the owner, at a better price. Comprised of 227 luxury apartments and more than 20,000 square feet of prime retail space and underground parking, the three-year, $66.2 million project is expected to be completed by late 2013.
