Madison wins Bryn Mawr Hospital contract

HSC Builders & Construction Managers of Exton, Pa., awarded Madison with the concrete work and sitework at Bryn Mawr Hospital, located just outside of Philadelphia. The project will help facilitate the efficient removal of medical waste from the hospital buildings to the campus’ exterior dumpster/compactor area. Madison will work with excavation contractor Richard Fox Contractors, Inc., of King of Prussia, Pa., to perform all necessary demolition and provide new foundations for the project.

The nonprofit Bryn Mawr Hospital is a 319-bed acute-care teaching hospital that is 123 years old. In 2016, the hospital broke ground on a two-phase, $253 million modernization project that will transform it into a contemporary health care facility equipped to improve patient comfort, meet community needs and accommodate future care-delivery needs. The renovation and upgrades are scheduled to be completed in 2019.
