James J. Dolente — Chairman of the Board

With more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Jim's leadership inspires a commitment to excellence throughout the entire company. He oversees each project from initial estimate through punch list and beyond. He works diligently to ensure complete client satisfaction.

Jim started Madison Construction Company with his brother in 1969 and has steadily grown the company to its present position as one of the largest commercial concrete contractors in the Philadelphia region. In addition to increasing volume and market, Jim has committed to building and maintaining Madison's reputation as an honest, hardworking, reliable and safe contractor. It is his vision and commitment to these aspects of the business that adds value to the construction dollar and results in repeat business from many clients.

Jim's professional affiliations include: Concrete Contractors Association (past president), General Building Contractors Association, Cement Masons Craft Board, American Association of Concrete Contractors and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). In addition, Jim's community involvements include being Chairman of the Board of The Burn Foundation, and a member of the Board of Directors of White Horse Retirement Village.

James J. Dolente, Jr. — President

Jim Jr. has worked his way through almost every position in Madison Construction, including laborer, carpenter, field superintendent, project manager and estimator. As President, Jim Jr. is responsible for sales, estimating, client development and marketing, as well as overseeing projects that are currently in construction. He has considerable major project experience with demonstrated expertise in preconstruction activities, project management and risk management. For more than 15 years, Jim, Jr. has managed all estimating activities for the firm.

Jim Jr.'s professional affiliations include: Past President of the American Subcontractors Association (Delaware Valley Chapter), General Building Contractors Association, ASCC and ACI.

Stephen Dolente — Vice President of Construction

Stephen began his career at Madison as a teenager, and has served in almost every capacity from carpenter to superintendent to project manager, culminating in his current position as Vice President. His impressive resume as a Carpenter Superintendent includes several of Madison's most challenging structural concrete projects, as well as many other notable projects for a variety of clients in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. Steve's success in the field has proven to be incredibly valuable in his current positions of Vice President and Project Manager. His communication and organizational skills, along with his focus on constructability and schedule, allow Steve to provide top-notch service to ensure that our clients get the quality concrete projects they deserve.
