FMC Tower update: Concrete pour complete at 28th-floor transfer level

Madison Concrete has poured all the concrete for the FMC Tower 28th-floor transfer level and is in the process of stripping its formwork., which is expected to be done by the end of December 2015.

Once this is finished, Madison will begin the second phase of work, a 20-story poured-in-place apartment building on top of the structural steel office portion of the tower.

The 861,000-square-foot building is located at Cira Centre South in Philadelphia. Madison’s contract includes the foundations, concrete elevator core and slabs for the office tower portion of the project.
