Madison completes FMC Tower core to 28th floor

Madison has completed the core in the FMC Tower up to the 28th floor for the structural steel portion of the building. Work on the remaining 20 floors, which will be composed of a cast-in-place concrete apartment building, will begin as soon as the structural steel is erected up to the 28th floor.

Slag is being used in the FMC Tower concrete mix.

The 861,000-square-foot building located at Cira Centre South in Philadelphia. Madison’s contract includes the foundations, concrete elevator core and slabs for the office tower portion of the project.
