Madison completes CHOP tower project

Madison has completed all work for the 22-story Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) tower, now called the Roberts Center for Pediatric Research. The skyscraper is the first of four buildings to be completed as part of CHOPS’ extensive expansion plan. All four towers will sit on an 8.4-acre site along the east banks of the Schuylkill River.

For this project, Madison provided the concrete for the podium level, parking, infrastructure, loading dock and first tower concrete core, totaling 625,000 feet of slab on metal deck and 30,000 yards of concrete.
