Madison Concrete has completed footings and is now working on the foundation walls for the college’s Marion Edwards Park Science Building renovation project, which also includes a 10,000-square-foot addition to the 80-year-old facility.
The Park Science Center facility is actually a series of interconnected buildings that have been built over time. The 10,000-square-foot addition combined with a full renovation of the facility’s existing square footage will create new, collaborative learning spaces, technology-rich classrooms, student study areas and a “science library for the future.”
Madison is providing foundations and floors for this project. Phase 1 is expected to be completed during fall 2018.
