Ferguson Named Best of the Best

We are very proud to announce that our very own Bob Ferguson – an employee of Madison Concrete since 1987 – was recently recognized by the Subcontractors Association of Delaware Valley (SADV) as the Best of the Best.

In a reception held Feb. 19, SADV – a membership association representing multiple trades, suppliers, vendors, building owners, engineers and architects in the construction industry – recognized Bob and others in their Professional Showcase.

It comes as no surprise to us that Bob was selected by his peers for this distinction. Experienced in all facets of the construction industry, Bob worked as a foreman, general foreman and superintendent for numerous companies before joining our team almost three decades ago. Today, he serves as our Vice President of Construction and currently commands a field workforce of more than 15 superintendents, 20 foreman and more than 150 journeymen.

Around our office, Bob is known as the guy that makes things happen. He coordinates everyone in the field including the foreman and superintendents, and spends a lot of time in his truck visiting each job site. But, Bob’s value goes far beyond efficient workflow of our crews. Rather, he is known for being an asset and trusted advisor for other subcontractors, the General Contractor and even the owner. He is known for his ability to look at a set of drawings or walk onto a jobsite and see something that nobody else sees and quickly determine a solution that benefits everyone. His ability to see a bigger perspective and trouble-shoot make him a resource for all team members.

We are so very proud of the work we do and recognize that our people make the difference. It is especially gratifying when one of our team members is recognized by his peers for truly living up to our motto: Building structures and relationships that last.
