Madison gears up on 1919 Market St., New Courtland Apartments and FMC Tower projects

Madison is gearing up to mobilize on three projects of which it is part of the team: 1919 Market St., the FMC Tower, and New Courtland Apartments. 1919 Market St. is a parcel of land that has sat vacant for decades and is now being transformed into a luxury, high-rise apartment tower.

The New Courtland Apartments is being specifically designed for seniors age 62 and older. Madison is providing the grade beams, foundation walls, slab on grade and slabs on metal deck. The 861,000-square-foot FMC Tower, located at Cira Centre South in Philadelphia, is expected to be completed by mid-2016. Madison’s contract for the project includes the foundations, concrete elevator core and slabs for the office tower portion of the project. At the top of the office tower, Madison will construct a 22-story cast-in-place concrete apartment building.
