August saw the start of another Madison project: Inspira Health Medical Center in Mullica Hill, N.J. We are currently installing footings and foundation walls for this new hospital, and we also have been contracted to perform the excavation and backfill for the foundations.
The replacement hospital has been designed to improve services and in-patient experiences as well as increase access to care in Gloucester County. When it is completed, all inpatient-care services will be moved from the nearby Inspira Health Medical Center Woodbury to this new hospital. The Woodbury facility will then be transformed from a hospital to a health center, offering emergency room services, behavioral health and outpatient care.
